JOB SUMMARY:
The primary focus of this role will be to lead change management in deploying Oracle Core HR module across all of CARE’s 40+ business units and be the designated change lead for the Oracle Fusion platform implementation in CARE’s Atlanta HQ business unit.
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring all key office stakeholders understand how the different systems will be implemented and support CARE’s offices with each implementation, and ensuring active office engagement, ownership and readiness for system deployment.
The role will work alongside the Supply Chain Transformation Senior Global Change Manager to carry out change and deployment activities relating to the implementation of CARE’s Oracle Fusion platform that comprises sourcing, procurement and inventory and core HR modules.
There may be a requirement for some limited travel to business unit/country office locations during implementation periods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Change Impact Assessment & Change Planning for Oracle Core HR module
Work in collaboration with the Core HR project team to develop the change impact assessment and change planning that get the project ready for implementation.
- Be the main liaison for the Core HR project with country, regional, and HQ offices for all change-related activities. - Develop a Change Impact Assessment as an output of the Core HR design phase so the different changes and impacts on CARE are clearly understood.
- Develop a Change Plan and Change Toolkit for the implementation of the Core HR module.
- Define a Readiness Checklist and Transition to BAU checklist.
Implement the Core HR module across all CARE’s BUs
Responsible for change management during the implementation of the Oracle Core HR module across all CARE’s BUs.
- Develop a global Change Plan which defines the various change, readiness and communication activities to get all CARE BUs ready for go-live.
- Work with the Transformation Training Lead who will develop all necessary training material for end users for the Core HR module.
- Deliver training to end users in different offices who will use the Oracle Core HR module.
- Define the Go/No Go process to ensure all key stakeholders are able to make an informed decision about going live with the Oracle Core HR module.
- Carry out all necessary post Go-Live activities and complete any transition to BAU activities.
- Build and deliver Communication and Engagement Plans.
- Prepare all necessary communication and engagement material.
Implement the Oracle Fusion Platform in CARE’s HQ
Be the designated change lead for the Oracle Fusion platform implementation in CARE’s Atlanta HQ business unit.
- Using the global Change Impact Assessment as a guide, carry out a local change impact assessment to understand the impacts specific to HQ
- Localise the global Change Plan for Oracle Fusion, and deliver the various change, readiness and communication activities to get CARE’s Atlanta HQ business unit ready for go-live.
- Deliver training to end users in HQ who will use the Oracle Fusion platform.
- Run the Go/No Go process to ensure all key stakeholders are able to make an informed decision about going live with Oracle Fusion
- Carry out all necessary post Go-Live activities and complete any transition to BAU activities.
Contribute to CARE’s Transformation team
Be an active member of CARE’s Transformation team which comprises other change managers and project managers who are part of other Transformation projects.
- Contribute towards the continued improvement of CARE’s change management methodology by sharing lessons learned and best practice with the Director of Project & Change Management
- Facilitate in the sharing of project experiences and issues among the Transformation Team
- Support the delivery of Project Delivery Lifecycle training that happens bi-annually
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, communications, human resources, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in change management roles that delivered large scale change to an organization
- Experience supporting large-scale technology implementations, ideally involving HR systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across cultures and time zones.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Experience working in a matrixed or complex organizational structure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP)
- Experience with Oracle Core HR or other HCM platforms.
- Familiarity with the nonprofit or the international development sector.
- Experience working with global teams and managing change across multiple countries.
- Experience in change management areas of change impact assessment, communications, training, and stakeholder engagement
